TSV Viewer

View TSV files locally for free. Browse tab-separated rows, search and sort columns, and export the current page as CSV with no upload or account.

TSV files separate columns with tabs. They are common in research datasets and text exports where commas may appear inside values. This TSV viewer opens the data as a searchable table instead of a wall of tab-separated text.

How to use the TSV Viewer

Choose a .tsv file to start with a tab delimiter. Check whether the first row contains headers, then search all parsed rows, filter values or sort columns. Text values and leading zeros remain intact.

What the TSV Viewer supports

Browse a virtual table, search all rows, sort columns and export the current page as CSV. Tab is the default delimiter.

File limits and compatibility

200 MiB input; 200,000 rows and 1,000 columns. Values remain strings. Generated exports are limited to 50 MiB.

Expanded content can reach browser limits before the input limit. If opening fails, try a smaller supported file. No cloud fallback is used. This viewer is free and requires no account.

TSV Viewer FAQ

How is a TSV file different from CSV?

TSV uses tabs between fields; CSV usually uses commas. The viewer defaults to tabs for .tsv files and provides delimiter controls for other delimited input.

Can I save TSV data as CSV?

You can export the current table page as CSV, up to 200 rows and the 50 MiB generated-export limit. This is a page export, not a whole-file converter.

What TSV encodings are supported?

UTF-8 and BOM-marked UTF-16 are supported. The input limit is 200 MiB, with at most 200,000 rows and 1,000 columns; available browser memory may impose a lower practical limit.
